Namibian Schoolchildren Will Discover Russia Thanks to TSU and the CND

A group of Namibian schoolchildren aged 14–17 will be hosted in Tambov by G.R. Derzhavin TSU—partner and friend of the Center for Public Diplomacy. The educational trip will be part of the federal project “University Shifts.”

The welcoming venue where the African guests will stay will be the “Derzhavinsky” campus—a multifunctional educational, wellness, and scientific-methodological complex of TSU, located in an environmentally clean forest outside the city.

All the main details of the trip were agreed in recent days during a working meeting attended by representatives of the CND Valeria Manovitskaya and Maksim Kloss, TSU Vice-Rector Elena Zueva, and member of Namibia’s National Council Nestor Sheimi.

Specialists at the Center for Public Diplomacy are confident that the Namibian children’s journey will be fun and beneficial, help the guests learn more about Russia and Russian education, and enable young people from the two countries to meet and become friends.
