The Russian House of the Center for Public Diplomacy Officially Opens in Libya

The Center for Public Diplomacy (CPD) representative office has already established itself in Libya as an indispensable and welcoming platform for the implementation of Russian-Libyan educational and cultural projects.

Numerous friends and partners of the Russian House gathered for the grand opening ceremony. After the symbolic cutting of the red ribbon, guests were given a tour of the new building, which is set to become home to many more joint initiatives.

In a hall decorated with flowers and the flags of Russia and Libya, welcoming speeches were delivered to constant applause and smiles. Guests also warmly received the live music concert that continued the праздничная program.

In addition, everyone had the opportunity to take part in interactive programs and competitions — fun contests were organized for both adult guests and children.

Specialists from the Center for Public Diplomacy emphasize that the official opening of the Russian House in Libya will give new momentum to strengthening cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

It is worth noting that there are currently eleven representative offices of the Center for Public Diplomacy operating across Africa. Experts expect that Senegal will become the twelfth country to host a partner Russian House of the Center. The process of opening the CPD representative office there has already been launched, and active work is underway to build bilateral humanitarian ties.
